Yes! Kids want to make games! Yes! Making games, for a majority of kids, is the coolest thing they can imagine!

The problem is, for most kids, there's no connection between their dreams, and the reality of what it takes to actually build the skills necessary to get into our business. They don't know anything about our jobs... and most kids have never met anyone in the game biz.
