During the 'Publisher's Rant' at the 2007 Game Developers Conference, a lot of folks, including myself, were inspired by Nichol Bradford's passionate plea for game professionals to reach out to school kids. As she pointed out, kids today, and the school systems of today, are in a world of hurt. Meanwhile, the kids themselves, happily, have a new kind of aspiration. According to recent polls, the chance to be making games is actually outscoring sports and entertainment stars.
